Danville — Mrs. Lettie Adamson, age 79, of 303 W. Seminary St., sister-in-law of Mrs. Claude (Ruth) Lucas and cousin of Misses Nina and Lura Spinning and John Spinning, all of Covington, died at 7:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at theVermilion Nursing Home after an illness of 18 months. She had resided in Danville 47 years. Born Dec. 12, 1883, in Rosedale, she was a daughter of Nickolas and Ann Mary Lynch McLaughlin. She was married Nov. 27, 1906, in Covington to John ( Don) McDonald Adamson, who preceded her in death July 12, 1942. They had resided in Covington for a few years after their marriage and were members of the Catholic Church. Surviving are a son, John, with whom she made her home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Brown of Danville; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be at 9 a. m. Thursday at the St. Patrick's Church in Danville. The Rev. Leo Bates will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Covington with the Johnson Funeral Home in charge. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home tonight at 7 o'clock.
